Is There a Loss of Resolution when Converting Videos Internally?
Simply put, yes. If the video is greater than 1920 x 1080 pixels then the video will need be resized before processing.
To be more specific, there is a maximum number of pixels that can be read in each frame by ABC Tracker. The maximum number of pixels is 2,073,600 (roughly 2 million) per frame of the video. This means that any video with larger than 1920 x 1080 resolution will need to be resized before processing.
Please note, there is a slight drop in quality when a video undergoes any conversion process (either file type or resizing). We have tried to make the difference virtually unnoticeable, but please note that ABC Tracker works best with 1920 x 1080 MP4 videos.
